Terms of Service

Terms governing membership of and connectivity to FREMIX Exchange.

1. Membership

Membership of FREMIX Exchange is open to networks holding a valid Autonomous System Number registered with the appropriate Regional Internet Registry. All applications are subject to review and approval; we reserve the right to decline applications at our discretion.

2. Service

FREMIX Exchange provides a shared Layer 2 peering fabric and associated services (route servers, AS112, IXP Manager access). The service is provided on a best-effort basis; while we target high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service and are not liable for losses arising from outages, whether direct, indirect, or consequential.

3. Your responsibilities

• Keep your PeeringDB record and IRR objects accurate and current.
• Announce only prefixes you are authorised to originate.
• Configure only the peering addresses assigned to you.
• Comply with the Acceptable Use Policy and IXP Policy at all times.

4. Termination

Either party may terminate membership with reasonable notice. We may suspend or terminate connectivity immediately where continued service would harm the exchange, its members, or third parties — including persistent AUP violations, or announcements causing route leaks or instability.

5. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is always published at https://fremix.exchange/terms. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
